Jay and I headed out for a weekend of fun on the St. Croix River. We had our hammock, fishing rods, and a cooler packed with tasty food. Hit the water Friday night to get in a few miles before setting up camp on a random island. Next day, We paddled and fished, but never caught anything. Found another lovely island to camp on. Last day, more paddling but in some minor whitewater, great to teach Jay how to pick a line. Fished some more, no luck again... Then, hammered out the last few miles before getting off. Something like 32-35 miles in total. Just enough to have a nice relaxing time. Great weekend and I only took a handful of photos. Wanted to just be in the moment, clear my head, and just enjoy the river.
