At 3,865 acres, over 47 hiking miles, and 35 mountain biking miles Minnesota Valley State Recreation Area has plenty to see and do. It is broken down into 5 units that span from Belle Plaines to Shakopee. I visited each unit which was like it's own park, similar to each other, but still different in their own unique way. Mountain biked a good amount of the Minnesota River Trail until it got flooded out, hiked, biked some more, and also tossed in a great yoga session.
