Blue Mounds
Arrived with a few hours of daylight. So I hit the trail hard and fast! Hiked all the trails they had to offer, minus the Western loop. Did some free climbing, yoga, and meditation as well. Super sweet glacier rock formations, which you can see and read all about when you visit. If you are a climber this place has some awesome lines I picked out, so many cracks, but I’m sure there is a plethora of bata out there on the routes and all of that too. I totally want to get back to climb!
Any who, I did the Lower Cliffline Trails first and worked my way up to the Mound Trail. Stopping at Eagle rock for the sunset and to watch the rain in the distance slowly make it’s way to me. By the time it reached me it was just a fine mist with a huge rainbow. As it was getting dark, I decided to run my way back from Eagle rock to the car, which for not being a runner it was nice to end the night :)
