Ireland - Land of Cliffs and Guinness

First Stop

Starting off the trip with Ireland. We flew into Dublin and was instantly not able to stay at a single hostel.... Thanks to One Direction playing 3 concerts in Dublin. So we popped onto a bus and headed to Cork for two nights.

The following day we headed up to Blarney Castle (amazing) for the day.

We then headed up to the Cliffs of Moher, but since we ended getting up to that area so late we had to keep on trekking to a hostel in Lisdoonvarna of the night. Next morning we caught a bus back to the Cliffs and spent a few hours before it started to rain on us.

We decided to catch a bus up to Galway (another pretty sweet town), which seemed like a haul. Had a little trouble getting a place to stay since I guess it's a 3 day weekend for everyone and that's one of the places to be. Amanda went to church on Sunday, which Kayla and I meet up with her after the service and took some pictures inside.

We then popped onto a train to head back to Dublin! Train was super slick and I misplaced my passport on the train... That was one heck of an experience, but thankfully the girls were able to work their magic and we found it! Of course we had to tour Guinness, since how can you go wrong with free beer and get to see how awesome Author Guinness was! Mad props to him for everything he has accomplished in his life and made Guinness into an fantastic company.

We started walking to our hostel (2-3 miles away) and it started to rain... Got to our new hostel, settled in, made dinner, and went out exploring the city center. Ended up at Merchants Arch Bar and Restaurant and saw a kickass live band called Trad Fad Junkies! Super fun band and great night! Getting back to the hostel late we all passed out and slept in sort of late.

We still got out and explored the city center again with local parks, shopping, food, and more! Given it did rain on us again all day which totally sucked along with the museums and churches not being open today to check out... So we are spent the last few hours chilling, making dinner, and planning out our next stop... Paris!
