Time for another road trip! Starting off at my buddies cabin for one last surf and fishing session, before we pull the docks. Then I hit the road to Grand Portage. Spent the night in a wayside stop and went from there. Taking dirt roads most of the way, searching for waterfalls, overlooks, and anything else I could find. Lots of places I knew of but never seen. Nothing was really planned and I was going off the maps/layers Gaia offers, which I will say is a game changer for overlanding. I hiked and paddled as much as my knee could keep up. The bubble in my right knee kept getting bigger and tighter. BUT BUT BUT! I finally got to paddle a waterfall I've had my eyes on for some time. Just an amazing time! Even more so since the fall colors were popping like crazy.
